Ride to new heights on the Sandia Peak Tram taking visitors 2.7 miles or 10,378 ft up the beautiful Sandia Mountains. Breath in fresh mountain air and enjoy breathtaking views of over 11,000 square miles and many of the beautiful homes New Mexico has to offer. The Tram was built in 1966 and was the largest aerial tramway in the world until 2010 when it was surpassed. Once at the top there are many year-round recreational options. Many forest service trails offer recreational hiking, backpacking and nature hikes. Skiing and Snowboarding are available in the winter time and during the summer more than 26 miles of mountain bikes trails through the picturesque Sandias.

Admission round trip runs $29 for Adults 21-61, $24 for young adults 13-20, $19 for children 2-12 and $24 for seniors 62 and up. Once at the top indulge in a delicious meal or drink at Ten 3 overlooking all of Albuquerque for a heart-stopping sight over all of Albuquerque.
