Tinkertown Opens for 27th Season
The Tinkertown Museum on Highway 536 in the Sandia Mountains is open for its 2010 season. The museum,featuring 40 years' worth of collecting, building and carving by Ross Ward, is open from 9 am to 6 pm daily. The 22-room museum is located 1 1/2 miles west of state Highway 14 on Sandia Crest Road.
Tinkertown Museum includes an exterior wall made of more than 50,000 glass bottles, metal sculptures, a miniature animated Old West town and circus, coin operated fortune teller and other delights.
Admission is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children.
